A. The purpose of a college education is to expand your knowledge so you can be more successful in the future. Most jobs require a college education because they only want the best working for them so I believe one is very important. If the purpose of a college education is not to be successful in life and get a good job I don't know what it is.

I have been going to school for many years and I was taught in order to be educated one needs to know the basics of life such as how to read and write. Thus, this is why many schools teach that skill first. I believe college education puts you one step above the rest.
